Appeal No. 1997-0030 Application No. 08/180,767 Appellant’s invention pertains to “an apparatus . . . for providing two or more predetermined wavelengths of laser radiation for coaxial transmission and simultaneous use, and, more particularly, to a metal vapor laser system for providing a single output laser light beam having a predetermined mixture of wavelengths for simultaneous medical use” (specification, page 1). Independent claim 1, a copy of which is found in an appendix to appellant’s brief, is representative of the appealed subject matter.
