Appellant’s invention pertains to a cable hoist controller for use with multi-story scaffolding. An understanding of the invention can be derived from a reading of independent claim 13, which is reproduced in Appendix A to appellant’s brief. The single reference of record relied upon by the examiner as evidence of obviousness is: Naito 3,231,240 Jan. 25, 1966 Claims 3-6, 8, 9, 12 and 13 stand rejected under 35 U.S.C. § 103 as being unpatentable over Naito.
