Appeal No. 2000-1335 Application 09/131,930 THE REJECTIONS Claims 1, 2, 5 through 13, 17, 18 and 20 stand rejected under 35 U.S.C. § 103(a) as being unpatentable over Nomura in view of Obosu. Claim 4 stands rejected under 35 U.S.C. § 103(a) as being unpatentable over Nomura in view of Obosu and Modine. Claims 13 and 14 stand rejected under 35 U.S.C. § 103(a) as being unpatentable over Nomura in view of Obosu and Swan. Claim 15 stands rejected under 35 U.S.C. § 103(a) as being unpatentable over Nomura in view of Obosu and Dauvergne. Claim 16 stands rejected under 35 U.S.C. § 103(a) as being unpatentable over Nomura in view of Obosu and Yasuda. Attention is directed to the appellant’s brief (Paper No. 8) and to the examiner’s answer (Paper No. 9) for the respective positions of the appellant and the examiner with regard to the merits of these rejections.
