                                                DECISION ON APPEAL                                                     
                     This is a decision on appeal from the examiner's final rejection of claims 31-59, at              
              which point, claims 1-30 had been canceled.  Subsequent to the final rejection, claim 45                 
              was amended and claims 46-48 were canceled.  Claims 31-45 and 49-59 remain before                        
              us on appeal.
