Control circuitry (figures 12a or 12b or 13a or 13b) implement the value adjustments of the activated features of the vehicle. This system is said (specification, page 1, lines 24-25 through page 2, lines 1-2) to minimize the time and travel distance that the driver's attention is diverted from the road, and the time and distance that the driver's hands are diverted from the steering wheel while operating the various systems. Independent claim 1 is reproduced as follows: 1.
