Appeal No. 2002-0602 Page 2 Application No. 09/596,749 BACKGROUND The appellant's invention relates to a vehicular plow of the type used to clear snow and like debris from roadways and similar surfaces. A copy of the claims under appeal is set forth in the appendix to the appellant's brief. The prior art references of record relied upon by the examiner in rejecting the appealed claims are: Middleton 3,994,081 Nov. 30, 1976 Ciula 4,803,790 Feb. 14, 1989 Claims 44 to 55, 74, 86 to 91, 94 and 97 to 105 stand rejected under 35 U.S.C. § 103 as being unpatentable over Ciula in view of Middleton.
