                     Claims 1 to 3, 5, 8 to 10, 12 and 15 stand rejected under 35 U.S.C. § 103 as                       
              being unpatentable over Van Valkenburgh in view of Loeber.                                                


                     Claims 4, 11 and 16 stand rejected under 35 U.S.C. § 103 as being unpatentable                     
              over Van Valkenburgh in view of Loeber and Powell.                                                        


                     Claims 6, 13 and 17 stand rejected under 35 U.S.C. § 103 as being unpatentable                     
              over Van Valkenburgh in view of Loeber and Ahonen.                                                        


                     Rather than reiterate the conflicting viewpoints advanced by the examiner and                      
              the appellants regarding the above-noted rejections, we make reference to the final                       
              rejection (Paper No. 6, mailed November 8, 1999) and the answer (Paper No. 12,                            
              mailed May 26, 2000) for the examiner's complete reasoning in support of the
