Venetos v. Matteis
On January 3, 2003, in response to the show cause order of November 22, 2002, the
common assignee Automotive Products Italia (SV) S.p.A filed a paper to elect senior party
Matteis as the one entitled to priority in this case. It is now time appropriate to enter adverse
judgment against junior party Venetos. It is
ORDERED that judgment as to the subject matter of the sole count is herein entered
against junior party BRAD N. VENETOS, and DOUGLAS L. SIMPSON;
FURTHER ORDERED that junior party BRAD N. VENETOS, and DOUGLAS L.
SIMPSON is not entitled to its application claims 1-12 which correspond to the count;
FURTHER ORDERED that if there is a settlement agreement, the parties should note
the requirements of 35 U.S.C. § 135(c) and 37 CFR § 1.666; and
FURTHER ORDERED that a copy of this judgment be filed in the respective involved
application or patent of the parties.
