Appeal No. 2003-0258 Application 09/684,138 THE INVENTION The appellant claims a low drop-out voltage regulator circuit that includes a class A output stage and a speedup circuit therefor. Claim 5 is illustrative: 5. A low drop-out voltage regulator circuit comprising: a MOS pass through transistor; a resistor feedback circuit coupled to the MOS pass through transistor; an amplifier having an input coupled to the resistor feedback circuit; a Class A output stage coupled between an output of the amplifier and a gate of the MOS pass through transistor; and a speedup circuit coupled between the output of the amplifier and the gate of the MOS pass through translator. THE REFERENCE Rincon-Mora et al. (Rincon-Mora) 6,046,577 Apr. 4, 2000 THE REJECTIONS The claims stand rejected as follows: claim 5 under 35 U.S.C. § 102(a) as anticipated by Rincon-Mora, and claims 6-9 under 35 U.S.C. § 103 as obvious over Rincon-Mora. OPINION We reverse the aforementioned rejections. 2Page: Previous 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 NextLast modified: November 3, 2007
