This is a decision on the appeal under 35 U.S.C. § 134 from the
examiner’s rejection of claims 1-28.
The Invention
The invention relates to a method to reduce the information to be
processed by a video decoder. The method includes the steps of identifying
macroblocks in the video signal and discarding those macroblocks that are not
