Appeal No. 2003-1505 Application No. 09/218,037 optimization of access performance of a disk by a host processor, and therefore the deficiencies of Chen as discussed above have not been overcome. Accordingly, we do not sustain the 35 U.S.C. § 103 rejection of claims 1-3, 12-15, 26, 28 and 29-34 over Chen and Jacobson. With respect to the rejection of the remaining claims, the Examiner further relies on Ciotti, Pinheiro, Rowan, Glaser and Lecourtier. However, none of these references overcomes the deficiencies of Chen, alone or in combination with Jacobson, as discussed above with respect to claim 1. Therefore, the 35 U.S.C. § 103 rejection of claims 4-11, 16-25 and 27 cannot be sustained. 7Page: Previous 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 NextLast modified: November 3, 2007
