However, from the disclosure of Glaser (col. 4, lines 44-55) that: Thus, those skilled in the art will appreciate that the conference participants can use keyboards of thier respective workstations and their display mouses and the like to enter information in the common whiteboard area 60 and have the informmation displayed in the whiteboard area of all the conference participants. A vertical scroll bar 62 is provided at the right edge of the working area and a horizontal scroll bar 64 is provided along the bottom edge of the work area. As will be familiar to those skilled in the art, the scroll bars are used to control positioning of the objects displayed in the work area we find that because the scroll bars are used to control positioning of the objects in the work area, that upon using the scroll bars to scroll down a page shown in the whiteboard area, that the portion scrolled to will be displayed in the whiteboard area. However, this does not mean that the display will be occuring subsequent to termination of the scrolling.
