DECISION ON APPEAL
This is a decision on appeal under 35 U.S.C. § 134 from
the examiner’s final rejection of claims 1-8. Claim 1 is
representative of the subject matter on appeal and is set forth
below:
1. A sealed battery, comprising:
a generator element that is an electrode group
impregnated with electrolyte;
an external casing that has an opening and
encloses the generator element;
a closure cap for sealing the opening, the
closure cap having a gas release valve that is formed
