                                  DECISION ON APPEAL                                  

               This is a decision on an appeal from the final rejection of            
          claims 1-9, all the claims currently pending in the application.            
               Appellant’s invention pertains to a differential gear assembly         
          having an optimized number of gear teeth on the side gears and the
