Appeal No. 2005-1024 Page 2 Application No. 10/156,291 BACKGROUND The Invention The appellants’ invention relates to a soft, aspheric intraocular lens. The claims on appeal are as follows: 26. A molded soft intraocular lens molded from a soft, bio- compatible material having an aspheric portion. 27. A molded soft intraocular lens as defined in Claim 26 wherein said aspheric portion comprises a sector on one surface of said lens. 28. A molded soft intraocular lens molded from a soft, bio- compatible material which has at least one surface which is not uniformly spherical, said non-uniformly spherical surface comprising at least two sections having surfaces which intersect to form an obtuse angle therebetween. 29. An aspheric intraocular lens, comprising: a soft internally dry aspheric intraocular lens.
