DECISION ON APPEAL
This is a decision on appeal from the examiner's final
rejection of claims 1 through 20, which are all of the claims
pending in this application.
Appellant's invention relates to a radiation image recording
and read-out method and apparatus in which a radiation image is
stored on a stimulable phosphor sheet and the phosphor sheet is
erased by a sheet-shaped erasing light source located on the same
side of the phosphor sheet as the radiation. Claim 9 is
illustrative of the claimed invention, and it reads as follows:
