Appeal No. 2005-2186 Application No. 09/750,664 THE INVENTION The invention relates to a liquid sprayer having particular utility in an inkjet print head. Representative claim 1 reads as follows: 1. A liquid sprayer comprising: a liquid holder exposing a liquid surface of conductive liquid sprayed on an object; and a field applier forming an equipotential surface convexed with respect to the liquid surface of a conductive liquid sprayed on an object. THE REJECTIONS Claims 1-3 stand rejected under 35 U.S.C. § 112, second paragraph, as failing to particularly point out and distinctly claim the subject matter the appellants regard as the invention. Claims 1-3 also stand rejected under 35 U.S.C. § 102(b) as being anticipated by U.S. Patent No. 4,046,074 to Hochberg, deceased et al. (Hochberg).
