The "Preliminary Amendment"13 filed with the application inserted definitions of a number of terms following column 66, line 41 of the specification and proposed to add new drawing Figures 57 and 58, which are copies of Figures 9.2 and 9.3 from page 170 (in Chapter 9) of the Windows Interface document.
