Because one of ordinary skill in the art would have recognized that electrochromic panels could be darkened to form an opaque privacy shield about White's video keypad to blocks a third party from seeing a user's entry of a PIN, and such panels could be made transparent so as not to obscure a promotional program being displayed, we conclude that those skilled in the art would have been motivated to embody White's barriers as electrochromic panels. Therefore, we affirm the obviousness rejection of claim 3 and of claim 12, which falls therewith. III.
