DECISION ON APPEAL
This is a decision on appeal from the examiner’s final
rejection of claims 1, 4, 5, and 7-10, which are all the claims
pending in this application. Claims 2, 3, and 6 have been
cancelled.
The appellants’ invention relates to a syringe pump adapted
to receive a syringe having a plunger movable in a barrel. The
pump has a force sensor that detects occlusions in the infusion
