UNITED STATES PATENT AND TRADEMARK OFFICE ____________ BEFORE THE BOARD OF PATENT APPEALS AND INTERFERENCES ____________ Ex parte GERHARD WYDRA ____________ Appeal No. 2006-0443 Application No. 10/347,273 ____________ HEARD: February 23, 2006 ____________ Before CAROFF, WARREN, and OWENS, Administrative Patent Judges. CAROFF, Administrative Patent Judge. DECISION ON APPEAL This is a decision on appeal from the examiner’s final rejection of claims 14-33, all of the pending claims in appellant’s involved application. The examiner has indicated in his answer that the rejection of claims 20-22 and 27 is withdrawn, and that those claims would be allowable if rewritten in independent form. Accordingly, we shall review the examiner’s final rejection only as it relates to claims 14-19, 23-26 and 28-33. The appealed claims are directed to a process for producing a cladding or coating on a surface of a turbine blade. The coating includes ceramic particles which project above the coating layer.Page: 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 NextLast modified: November 3, 2007
