DECISION ON APPEAL
Ram K. Ramesh et al. appeal from the final rejection
(mailed October 25, 2004) of claims 22-46, all of the claims
pending in the application.1
THE INVENTION
The invention relates to a process for packaging a
product in a bag made of heat-shrinkable multilayer film.
Representative claim 22 reads as follows:
22. (previously presented) A process for packaging a
product, comprising the steps of:
(A) placing a first product into a flexible,
heat-shrinkable bag, the bag having an open top, whereby a
first bagged product having excess bag length results, and
