                                    THE REJECTIONS                                    
               Claims 1 and 7 stand rejected under 35 U.S.C. § 103(a) as              
          being unpatentable over JP ‘321 in view of JP ‘622.                         
               Claims 2-4, 6 and 9 stand rejected under 35 U.S.C. § 103(a)            
          as being unpatentable over JP ‘321 in view of JP ‘622, further in           
          view of Leef.                                                               
               Claims 5 and 8 stand rejected under 35 U.S.C. § 103(a) as              
          being unpatentable over JP ‘321 in view of JP ‘622, further in              
          view of FDJ.                                                                
                                     THE INVENTION                                    
               The invention relates to a shielded coaxial cable.  The                
          shielding is formed from a tape which includes metal “deposited”            
          thereon.  This deposition is said to give a more flexible tape              
          which allows the cable to bend without breaking  (Appeal Brief,             
          page 2).                                                                    
                                      DISPOSITION                                     
               On consideration of the record, we affirm-in part the                  
          examiner's prior art rejections, and we also enter a new ground of          
          rejection pursuant to 37 CFR §41.50(b).
