DECISION ON APPEAL
This is a decision on appeal from the final rejection of claims 1 through 8, 10 through 14,
16 and 17, all of which are pending in this application. Claims 9 and 15 have been
canceled by Appellant.
Invention
Appellant’s invention relates generally to a method and system for transmitting data
between customized ports (52,54,56, 58) in a crossbar (50) and system agents in a data
processing system (100). Each of the plurality ports is customized with an input port (60,
68, 76, 84) for receiving data from a source agent and an output port (62, 70, 78, 86) for
