The obviousness rejection of claim 90 is sustained because
the pattern taught by the combined teachings of the references
would be the regular pattern of taking care of the health of the
virtual pet over time in its environment.
DECISION
The decision of the examiner rejecting claims 81 and 82
under 35 U.S.C. § 102(e) is affirmed, and the decision of the
examiner rejecting claims 83 through 90 under 35 U.S.C. §103(a)
is affirmed.
No time period for taking any subsequent action in
connection with this appeal may be extended under 37 CFR
§ 1.136(a)(1)(iv).
