DECISION ON APPEAL
This is a decision on appeal from the examiner’s final rejection of claims 1-7, all
of the claims pending in appellants’ involved application.
The appealed claims are directed to a process for producing a solid polyurethane
(PU) molding by a casting technique. Specifically, the process involves reacting a
diisocyanate and/or a polyisocyanate with, inter alia, a polyether polyol (number-average
molecular weight of from 149 to 999 g/mol), and a polyether (number-average molecular
weight of from 1,000 to 16,000 g/mol) having at least one group capable of reacting with
an isocyanate group.
