Appeal No. 2006-3106 Application 10/209,746 We REVERSE. BACKGROUND The Appellants’ invention relates to a field plate transistor with reduced field plate resistance. An understanding of the invention can be derived from a reading of exemplary claim 1 which is reproduced below. 1. A transistor, the transistor comprising: a source; a gate; a drain;. a field plate located between the gate and the drain, wherein said field plate comprises a plurality of connection locations; and a plurality of electrical connectors connecting said plurality of connection locations to a potential.
