California Food and Agricultural Code Section 36951

CA Food & Agri Code § 36951 (2017)  

Sherbet is a food that complies with Section 135.140 of Title 21 of the Code of Federal Regulations. Sherbet shall contain not more than 75,000 bacteria per gram.
