California Food and Agricultural Code Section 39832

CA Food & Agri Code § 39832 (2017)  

UHT eggnog shall contain not less than 6 percent milk fat and not less than 8.25 percent milk solids-not-fat. It shall contain not less than one-half of 1 percent by weight of wholesome fresh egg yolk solids or the equivalent amount of egg yolk solids obtained from wholesome frozen egg yolks or from wholesome dried egg yolks or the equivalent amount in other approved form.
