California Government Code Section 12587

CA Govt Code § 12587 (2017)  

The Attorney General may make additional rules and regulations necessary for the administration of this article, provided that any assessment of an annual registration or renewal fee from charitable trustees and corporations, commercial fundraisers, fundraising counsel, and commercial coventurers subject to this article, authorized by statute or regulation, shall be used by the Department of Justice solely to operate and maintain the Attorney General’s Registry of Charitable Trusts and provide public access via the Internet to reports filed with the Attorney General.
