California Public Resources Code Section 42602

CA Pub Res Code § 42602 (2017)  

The board shall employ appropriate marketing techniques to disseminate its message, including radio and television advertising. The board may conduct paid advertising campaigns or solicit joint sponsorship of advertising campaigns by private industry for the purposes of complying with this chapter.
