Administrative law judges; disputed claims; hearings
Sec. 4. (a) The commissioner shall appoint one (1) or more
administrative law judges to hear and decide disputed claims. Such
administrative law judges shall be full-time salaried employees of the
department. Administrative law judges appointed under this section
are not subject to IC 4-21.5 or any other statute regulating
administrative law judges, unless specifically provided.
(b) The unemployment insurance board may authorize
employment of part time administrative law judges for limited
periods.
