Contest of activation of order by court
Sec. 12. (a) An obligor may contest the activation of an income
withholding order under section 6(2) or 6(3) of this chapter by
appearing at the hearing provided by section 8(b) of this chapter.
(b) The only basis for contesting the activation of an income
withholding order under this section is a mistake of fact.
(c) If the court decides to activate the income withholding order,
a written notice shall be mailed to the income payor as provided in
section 10 of this chapter.
