Communication between tribunals
Sec. 17. (a) An Indiana tribunal may communicate with a tribunal
of another state in writing, by telephone, or any other means to
obtain information concerning the:
(1) laws of the other state;
(2) legal effect of a judgment, a decree, or an order of the other
state's tribunal; and
(3) status of a proceeding in the other state.
(b) An Indiana tribunal may furnish similar information by similar
means to a tribunal of another state.
