Sec. 2. (a) If a grantee has satisfied a lien on real property but the
grantor has not recorded that the lien has been satisfied under section

office the deed is recorded, with reference to the location of the
recorded deed.
(b) A recorded certification that a lien has been satisfied operates
as a complete discharge of the lien.
