General Laws of Massachusetts - Chapter 146 Inspection of Boilers, Air Tanks, Etc. Licenses of Engineers, Firemen, and Operators of Hoisting Machinery - Section 12 Removing, tampering with or loading safety valve

Section 12. No person shall remove or tamper with any safety appliance prescribed by the board nor load the safety valve to a greater pressure than that allowed by the certificate of inspection.
