General Laws of Massachusetts - Chapter 164 Manufacture and Sale of Gas and Electricity - Section 124B Shutting off gas or electric service for failure to pay for appliances; prohibition

Section 124B. No gas or electric company shall shut off gas or electric service in any home for the reason that a person has failed to pay for an appliance purchased from such company.
