290.650 Hindering, obstructing, assaulting, or committing bodily injury upon director or authorized representative as misdemeanor; penalty.

Sec. 10.

A person who hinders or obstructs in any way, or assaults or commits a bodily injury upon the director or an authorized representative of the director while in the performance of his or her official duties, knowing that person to be the director or an authorized representative of the director, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, punishable by imprisonment for not more than 2 years, by a fine of not more than $5,000.00, or both. In addition, any license issued or applied for pursuant to this act by a person convicted under this section shall be revoked or denied for 2 years.
