Sec. 5307.
(1) The department shall review, generally in priority order, the project plans for projects in the fundable range and either approve or disapprove the plans within 120 days of notifying the municipalities of their inclusion in the intended use plan. Upon determination by the department that a project is complex and warrants additional review, the department shall notify the municipality and may extend the review period for not more than 60 days.
(2) If the project plan is disapproved, the department shall notify the municipality of any deficiencies that need to be corrected.
(3) The department shall review subsequent submittals and either approve or disapprove the amended project plan within 120 days of those submittals.
(4) If the project plan is not approved, the department shall notify the municipality of the deficiencies.
