324.81126 Applicability of MCL 324.81123, 324.81125, and 324.81127 to Upper Peninsula; Upper Peninsula task force; creation; appointment of members; meetings; evaluation; report.

Sec. 81126.

(1) Except as otherwise provided in sections 81119 and 81125, sections 81123, 81125, and 81127 do not apply to the Upper Peninsula of this state.

(2) Not later than January 1, 1998, the advisory committee created by the commission shall report its findings to the standing committees of the senate and house of representatives that consider legislation affecting this part including its recommendations on whether this act should be implemented on a statewide basis.
