Person with disability entitled to services of interpreter at hearing. [Effective July 1, 2005.] An applicant or a witness at a hearing upon an application for clemency who is a person with a disability as defined in NRS 50.050 is entitled to the services of an interpreter at public expense, subject to the provisions of NRS 50.052 and 50.053. The interpreter must be:
1. Qualified to engage in the practice of interpreting in this state pursuant to subsection 2 of NRS 656A.100; and
2. Appointed by the Governor or a member of the Board designated by him.
