Nevada Revised Statutes Section 213.115 - Correctional Institutions

Release of certain prisoners on parole at request of authorities of other jurisdictions for prosecution. Notwithstanding the provisions of any other law, any prisoner may be released conditionally on parole at the request of the appropriate authority of another jurisdiction for prosecution for any crime of a magnitude equal to or greater than that for which he was imprisoned, as determined by the severity of the sentences for the two crimes. If after such conditional parole and prosecution by another jurisdiction the prisoner is found not guilty of the crime as charged he must, pursuant to the Board’s written order, be returned to the actual custody of the Department of Corrections and shall serve such part of the unexpired term of his original sentence as may be determined by the Board.
