Entry of default upon failure to plead or defend in action. If a man who is alleged to be the father of a child in an action brought pursuant to this chapter fails to plead or otherwise defend against the action as provided in the Nevada Rules of Civil Procedure, the clerk of the court shall enter his default upon a showing of proof of service of process and any other showing required pursuant to the Nevada Rules of Civil Procedure.
