Declaration of foreign nation as state for purposes of chapter.
1. When the Attorney General is satisfied that reciprocal provisions will be made by any foreign jurisdiction for the enforcement therein of support orders made within this state, the Attorney General may declare the foreign jurisdiction to be a state for the purpose of this chapter. Any such declaration may be revoked by the Attorney General.
2. As used in this section, “foreign jurisdiction” means a foreign sovereign nation or a political subdivision thereof.
