Maximum period of use of vehicle as taxicab; condition of vehicle acquired for use as taxicab.
1. A certificate holder shall not permit a vehicle to be used as a taxicab if it has been in operation as a taxicab for more than 4 model years or 52 months, whichever period is longer.
2. Any vehicle which a certificate holder acquires for use as a taxicab must:
(a) Be new; or
(b) Register not more than 30,000 miles on the odometer.
