Notice to registrant of failure of compliance of article for registration; effect of registration on commission of offense.
1. If it does not appear to the Director that the article is such as to warrant the proposed claims for it, or if the article and its labeling and other material required to be submitted do not comply with the provisions of NRS 586.010 to 586.450, inclusive, he shall notify the registrant of the manner in which the article, labeling or other material required to be submitted fails to comply with NRS 586.010 to 586.450, inclusive, to allow him an opportunity to make the necessary corrections.
2. The registration of an article is not a defense for the commission of any offense prohibited under NRS 586.350 to 586.410, inclusive.
