Proceedings commenced in more than one county.
1. If proceedings for the appointment of a guardian for the same proposed ward are commenced in more than one county, they shall be stayed, except in the county where first commenced, until final determination of venue in that county. If the proper venue is finally determined to be in another county, the court shall cause a transcript of the proceedings and all original papers filed therein, all certified by the clerk of the court, to be sent to the clerk of the court of the proper county.
2. A proceeding is considered commenced by the filing of a petition.
3. The proceedings first legally commenced for the appointment of a guardian of the estate or of the person and estate extends to all the property of the proposed ward which is in this state.
