Contracts of ward. If a ward for whom a guardian of the estate is appointed was, at the time of the appointment, a party to a contract which has not been fully performed, and which was made by the ward while not under any legal disability, the guardian of the estate, with prior approval of the court by order, may complete the performance of such contract. If such contract requires the conveyance of any real or personal property, or any interest in such property, the court may authorize the guardian to convey the interest and estate of the ward in the property, and the effect of such conveyance shall be the same as though made by the ward while not under legal disability.
