Proceedings in court. On or before the date of the hearing of a petition for approval of an intermediate or final account, the testamentary trustee shall file an affidavit or certificate proving the timely delivery to the known beneficiaries of the documents required by this chapter or by court order. The procedure as to filing of objections, examination of the trustee and other witnesses, inspection of the trust property, adjournments, reference to a master or other representative of the court, amendment of the account and similar matters, is in the discretion of the court.
