Additional notice to spouse or legal guardian. In addition to any notice required pursuant to NRS 441A.520, within 24 hours after a person’s involuntary admission into a public or private medical facility under emergency isolation or quarantine, the administrative officer of the public or private medical facility shall reasonably attempt to ascertain the identification and location of the spouse or legal guardian of that person and, if reasonably possible, mail notice of the admission by certified mail to the spouse or legal guardian of that person.
